About Carolina Dance Company
Carolina Dance Company opened in downtown Roseboro, North Carolina in the summer of 2009. Since opening its doors, Carolina Dance Company has offered quality, caring dance education under the direction of highly qualified and trained instructors.
At CDC, dancers receive personal dance instruction in positive class settings. Our studio motivates every dancer to reach their highest potential whether they take one class per week or ten. Carolina Dance Company takes pride in offering dancers a fun and safe learning environment that will allow them to leave each class feeling confident and accomplished.
Typically, a dance year at Carolina Dance Company begins in September and ends with the spring recital in May. Dancers enrolled at our studio will focus primarily on technique in the fall and transition to a focus on choreography in the spring. Each dancer is encouraged to participate in the annual spring recital where they have the opportunity to showcase all of their hard work. The spring recital is a grand stage production complete with lights, costumes and smiles.
In addition to the annual spring recital, Carolina Dance Company also participates in the annual Roseboro Christmas Parade. Held on the second Friday night of each December, the Roseboro Christmas Parade is highly anticipated each year by our studio, our dancers and our dance parents. As our youngest dancers help spread the holiday cheer from our Carolina Dance Company float older students bring in the spirit as they dance through the streets of downtown Roseboro.
Summer dance programs are also available through Carolina Dance Company. Summer camps, intensives and master classes offer dancers the opportunity to further their dance education while school is out in June and July. Program information on summer opportunities is available in April of each year.
