NOW ENROLLING
Carolina Dance Company is NOW ENROLLING for fall 2012 dance classes. Visit the studio while you are out and about for Sampson County & Cumberland County Schools fall open houses. Recital Rehearsal 4/29
Mandatory recital rehearsal for ALL Carolina Dance Company dancers will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2012. Rehearsal will be held in Reeves Auditorium at Methodist University (5400 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28311). Please check the REHEARSAL SCHEDULE for rehearsal times and arrive dressed in regular dance clothes (no costumes). Don't forget to bring ALL dance shoes!
Guest Artist: Patrick Cook
Carolina Dance Company is excited to have guest hip-hop artist Patrick Cook (click for bio) visit our studio on Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Patrick will teach two hip-hop classes while he is visiting Carolina Dance Company: Kid-Hop for grades K-5th from 7:15pm-8:15pm; Hip-Hop for grades 6th-12th from 8:15pm-9:15pm.
Students who are currently enrolled in a kid-hop or hip-hop class may participate at no cost. Students who are enrolled at CDC but not in a kid-hop or hip-hop class may participate for $5 each. This opportunity is also open to any interested dancer (not enrolled at CDC) for $10. If you are not currently enrolled in a kid-hop or hip-hop class at CDC and would like to take class with Patrick, please contact Ms. Courtney to reserve your spot (space is limited to 20 dancers per session). Parade Shirts
Long-sleeve t-shirts for the Roseboro Christmas Parade are now on sale at Carolina Dance Company for $20 each. Youth and adult sizes are available and orders will be accepted until November 18. All orders must be paid in full at time of order. Shirt orders are optional, but, CDC long-sleeve t-shirts are required for participation in the Christmas Parade. Please see Ms. Courtney, Miss Emily or Miss Sydney with questions or to place your order.
Fall 2011 Registration Ends Soon

Guest Artists at CDC
Carolina Dance Company is STOKED to announce its Guest Artists for Summer 2011: Ariana Debose & Philip McGee!!! We are lucky to have two extremely talented dancers visit our studio during the last week in July. Ariana will be teaching a jazz & lyrical combo class and Philip will be instructing the hip-hop class. For more info check out the Summer 2011 page on our website.
Recital DVD's
Recital DVD's are in and ready for pick-up!! You may pick up your copy any Tuesday between 5:30pm-7:30pm at the studio. A big thank-you to Wayne & Janice Edwards (Corner Treasured Memories) for such an awesome job with our recital DVD this year. They turned out GREAT!!

Summer Dance Camp at Carolina Dance Company will offer campers the opprotunity to experience a variety of dance styles in a fun-filled atmosphere. Dancers will participate in technique and choreography sessions in each of the following styles: tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip-hop, clogging & tumbling. Summer camp at Carolina Dance Company is a great way for new and experienced dancers to learn more about all styles of dance! Not sure which classes to sign up for this fall? Come to camp and experience them all!!

Costume Distribution Week
Costumes for the 2011 Spring Recital will be distributed to dancers during the week of April 4-8. Parents are asked to attend the last 15 minutes of their dancer's class to receive important information on finishing instructions, embellishment placement, hair accessories, etc. Thorough directions for costuming will be given during this 15 minutes and parents are highly encouraged to make arrangements to attend.
Class Pictures
Class pictures for the 2010-2011 dance year will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011. All dancer's are encouraged to be photographed with their class as these group shots will be used in the 2011 recital program. Individual portraits are optional and time will be allowed for individual shots to be taken after group pictures. See schedule below.

Studio Closed for Spring Break
Carolina Dance Company will be closed for Spring Break Monday, April 25-Thursday, April 28. No dance or tumbling classes will meet on these days. Classes for all students at Carolina Dance Company will resume as usual on Monday, May 2, 2011. Please see Ms. Courtney with any questions regarding the Spring Break schedule.
Recital Rehearsal
Recital Rehearsal for all Carolina Dance Company Dancers will be held on Sunday, May 1, 2011. Dancers should wear regular dance clothes (no costumes) and bring all of the appropriate dance shoes. The rehearsal will be held on the campus of Methodist University in Reeves Auditorium (5600 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28311). Parents are welcome to wait in the spacious lobby of the auditorium during their child's rehearsal session. Two parents/guardians will be invited in for a "preview" of recital material during the last 10 minutes of their child's rehearal slot. Recital tickets will also be available for advanced purchase during rehearsal ($5 each/cash only). Please see the rehearsal schedule below for Sunday, May 1, 2011:
